If you're looking for somewhere to stay on your camping and caravan holidays in Cornwall, why not give Tencreek Holiday Park a go?
Open all year round, this well placed park is great for exploring both Cornwall and neighbouring Devon, plus it has a range of accommodation facilities to cater for all holidaymakers.
Let's start with those in caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. There are a number of different types of pitches. The simple 'bike and hike' pitches will suit those without motorised transport and there are grass pitches without hook-ups, grass pitches with electric hook-ups, plus fully serviced, hardstanding pitches and seasonal pitches.
Guests are welcome to use the park's amenities block which has underfloor heating, showers, toilets, basins, hairdryers, family wet rooms and disabled wet rooms. There's also a laundry, a covered area for doing your washing up, a number of chemical disposal points, a recycling centre, an ice pack service and a place where you can charge your phone. Gas cylinder refills are available, too. In addition, this is a dog friendly campsite and there's a dedicated area where you can exercise your four-legged friends, as well as providing access to a public footpath.
You will also find a range of caravan holiday homes at Tencreek Holiday Park, all of which enjoy views of the sea. They'll accommodate between six and eight people and each has a well equipped kitchen with all the cutlery you'll need, a digital TV, plus bedding is provided. Whatever your budget, there should be something to suit you. And although you can enjoy a self catering holiday in Cornwall in one of these holiday homes, if you'd like a break from cooking, head to Castaways restaurant. Dogs are allowed in some of these holiday caravans.
This is a good campsite for families, as there's so much to keep the children busy. There's an indoor, heated swimming pool as well as a pool for toddlers, a children's play area, a games room and a multi sports pitch, so kids of all ages can let off steam. And if this activity gives you an appetite, the on site shop will help and even has an off licence. If you'd rather not cook, there is Deano's Diner and the previously mentioned Castaways complex, which has a restaurant, bar and cabaret room.
If you stay here for your camping and caravan holidays in Cornwall, you will surely be delighted to know that you're mere minutes from the sea, the south Cornish coast inviting you to discover it. The holiday park is just outside the small coastal town of Looe that really is picture postcard perfect. Looe is also packed with bars, pubs and restaurants, as well as places to pick up an ice cream or a Cornish pasty.
The Monkey Sanctuary (Wild Futures) is just a quarter of an hour from Tencreek Holiday Park by car and is a fun, family day out. This holiday park is also in the Gribbin Head - Polperro Heritage Coast area of Cornwall, plus this region is famous for its connections with author Daphne Du Maurier, who was born in Fowey, about a 45-minute drive from this campsite. With the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the north and Dartmoor National Park to the north east, there's so much for you to explore on your caravan and camping holidays in Cornwall, at Tencreek Holiday Park.

We go on a caravan holiday every year and this was the worst caravan site I have been to. The caravan was dirty, smelly, hob didnt work, utensils broken and the door didnt shut properly. I complained straight away and they were unable to move us. We went home the next morning to drive another 340 miles, we could not stay in this caravan therefore my kids havent had a holiday this year. I have tried to get some money back but have been met with excuses and not one apology.
