avoid avoid avoid at all costs!!! we have just finished a 3 night stay in a caravan, arriving very late Thursday evening around 10pm we simply put our bags in the caravan and went to bed but did notice grass in our beds and a strange odur, my husband initially thought it was cigarette smoke but to me it was a musty damp smell. The Friday morning when we woke we saw the caravan was in a very poor state the photos I took explained for themselves. cob webs everywhere, dead bugs all on the ceiling and walls, dirty black stains all on the sofas, seals around the door and windows broken and parts missing, radiators full of filth, carpets stained and full of dust around the edges and the very worst mould on the ceiling of the bedrooms and mould on the curtains major health hazard. After going to reception to discuss on the Friday both times we went morning and afternoon they were closed and unmanned, we called the landlines 3 times and no answer any time. We then went to reception again the following day where we spoke to chantelle and was told not partial refund would be given and if we had called a mobile number on the Friday they may have moved us caravan but as it was the Saturday after we finally managed to find someone within reception and reception actually being open they wouldn't do anything for us!!! on top of this they wanted to try and charge us an extra £25 for a so called special covid clean!!! absolutely appalling, the decor was very old but to us this did not matter the fact it was extremely filthy and the amount of mould in the caravan was unacceptable but they were happy to put us there with a child with severe asthma, take our money and simply say if we had seen them on the Friday they may have moved us caravan even though reception was not open!!!! they should be ashamed of them selves!!!
