Follow M4/M5 to Exeter. Take the A30 signposted to Okehampton. Take slip road to Newquay (A39) and follow signs to the A3075 to Redruth. Continue for 2 miles and turn right at the sign for Holywell. The park is well signposted.Newquay - a short drive away.

Chose this site because of its smaller size, sheltered look (as viewed on Google Maps) and proximity to beach. It was a couple of pounds/night more than others we looked at.
All staff very friendly helpful and laid back, facilities are good with a nice bar/lounge and good pub food. our 2 yr old daughter loved Sid & Lizzie but we didn't attend any other entertainment.
Proximity to the beach is this site's selling point, a 15 minute walk along a small track (no vehicular traffic to worry about). Heated pool is great and the water slide is a good one.
We went at the end of the peak season and the condition of our pitch was very poor, as were most others. More bare soil than grass which was a great shame, hence why I only give this 3 stars.
Toilet block ok but could do with a lick of paint. Showers are electric with no option to change temperature, but temp was about right - a tad hot if anything.
All in all a good site if you don't want to be on one of the many massive holiday parks in this area, we will probably return next year.

There is a really nice heated outdoor swimming pool. It is very close to the beach. Lots of entertainment for the children. There is something for everyone there. The place was well kept and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend going. Definitely would go again.
