Killorglin Mobile Home Park is a small and quiet family and pet friendly holiday retreat a short distance outside of Killorglin, County Kerry, close to the south west coast of Ireland.
The park is open from mid-April until end October every year, subject to Coronavirus regulations.
Stay here and you'll enjoy the site's picturesque location, bordered by the River Laune, with clear views of Carrauntoohill, Ireland’s highest mountain .
Whilst it is a dog friendly mobile home park, please keep your four-legged friends under control at all times and make sure you clean up after them.
Away from Killorglin Mobile Home Park there are a great many activities to be enjoyed. Guests preferring to keep it simple can head out on foot to explore the incredible countryside and surrounding mountains, with cycling and horse riding also offered close by. A leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool is found in Killarney town 11 miles away, with Killorglin just a mile away from the site. There are also a number of exceptional golf courses within an hour of the park, though there is a great quality one in town for those looking to stay local.
Public transport runs into town from just outside the park for guests looking to leave their car.
There are several bars and restaurants found in town, offering a range of food options for families to choose from. Larger convenience stores and supermarkets are situated in the town.
Killorglin Mobile Home Park is close to the N72, so despite its gorgeous location, you can still get out and about easily. You might want to visit Killarney and the Killarney National Park, about 20 minutes away by car. Cork is about an hour and 40 minutes away. Skellig Rock, a National Heritage Site is out in the ocean, trips can be arranged.

Here is a superb base from which to explore this beautiful part of Southern Ireland, being on the Ring of Kerry and with the famous Gap of Dunloe, Killarney National Park (All 25,000 areas of it), Muckross House, Dingle Peninsula, World Heritage Site Skellig Rock. Blarney Castle, Burren,Cork & Limerick are a day outing, and local indoor activities such as Indoor bowls, Badminton, Gym, award winning restaurants, pubs, dancing. Blennerville Windmill, Caves are all close by. Other things of interest are; Kerry Woollen Mills & Shop (Ireland's oldest working Mill),Bird Watching, Historical Sites and Ruins and the Outdoor Pursuits Centre. Horse Riding. I must thank West's Caravan Park for the most enjoyable camping holiday. Great place, loads to do and see, staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgable of the area. I'll be back!!
