On a rainy day: Experience Sygun Copper Mine or the local Slate Caverns. A bit of retail therapy can be found at Portmeirion or the Trefriw Woollen Mills. A trip on either the Snowdon Mountain Railway or the Llanberis Lake Railway is as enjoyable under grey skies as it is under blue!
