Liked: As a single female on my own I felt extremely safe. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Improving facilities as I left, putting a cover over washing up area. Shower warm and plenty of space to move around in. Able to relax and enjoy stay. WiFi connection brilliant, was able to watch Netflix no problem. Breakfast at the little cafe, delicious, for the level of service, cleanliness and quality of food was well worth the price. Having water facility and hookup next to tent was a bonus.

Our pot wash area has been part of our programme of works for this season and it has taken longer than expected to get it to the new improved standard, it now boasts a brand new covered roof and new side walls to help protect during inclement weather, the sinks are cleaned daily along with the Shower/Toilet blocks and are then inspected at regular intervals by ourselves to keep standards high.

thanks for the top marks this is what we aim for. Love the picture that is what it is all about!
Just to address the suggestion of extra showers, we currently have a programme of planned works for 3 extra single unisex Showe/Toilet/Wash cubilcles to the left of the current Shower/Toilet block to help ease congestion at busy times. The concrete flooring and pipeworks have been laid for this but unfortunatley due to circumstances out of our control these works started later in the year than planned therfore we took the decision to halt the work during the summer months to minimise the disruption it would cause to guests. We are hoping to start again in the autumn.
We do hope you will stay with us again.

Liked: Good friendly reception, well organised with emailed details of Pitch number and site security details in case of arrival after 5:00 pm. Convenient cafe on site, good level HSPitch with all facilities for Motorhomes.
Convenient for motorways and trunk road without having too much road noise at night. Twenty five minute walk to Pub but all on pavement and worth the walk.
Disliked: Toilets clean but too small for number on site when busy at weekends. No separate Urinal in gents and only one hand basin and one shower, very basic facilities.

thank you for leaving a review, we continually listen to all feedback and everything is discussed with the team once a month to keep on top of what we are doing well and to plan for future works to keep the business moving forward and providing an excellent experience for everyone that stays with us.
To address some of the issues you have raised, our planned programme of works contains adding an additional Shower/Toilet/Wash facility to the left of the current block for which the foundation and pipework have already been laid, this will consist of 3 individual cubicles, we have put a hold on the works over the high season to minimise the impact ongoing building work would have on guests. There are also plans to put an extra hand wash basin in each of the existing Shower/Toilet block and adding urinals is certainly something we will look at while making these alterations.

Liked: Small but friendly site, washroom and toilets clean and not more than 50 m away electric included.
I was visiting family in Ellesmere port so it was perfect for us for that alone.
But we were all very pleased with the site and will be happy to book there again.
Possibly later this year.
Disliked: Only one shower but it's a small site so not long to wait for it to empty.

Liked: We found the site to be clean, well kept and friendly. Our new rescue dog was made welcome (this was his first trip and we were nervous in case he disturbed others) but the owner put us at ease. This is a lovely quiet site and was ideal for what we wanted/needed. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Liked: Lovely and clean and plenty of space for pitching the tents. Chemical waste disposal, pot wash, toilets and showers. All clean and easily accessible. Great location for discovering the local area. We checked in late and rang the number provided and was given great instructions on where to pitch etc. Very helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing was very happy with the site.

Liked: Nice new site, small enough so the kids can run around and you can see them at all times but no too small so your are not all on top of each other.
Nice big pitches, cleanish toilets/shower (depending on other guests staying on the site).
Well lite in the evenings.
Fabulous cafe on site.
Close to Cheshire Oaks, so would possibly stay again if we intended going there.
Disliked: Only one shower, so having small children is not the easiest when your queuing for a shower.
Washing up area I am presuming is not finished as no cover and situated right next to the toilet waste. The wind below some of plates and cups around the toilet so had to be thrown away.
Someone who was staying on the site had scrubbed their greasy pans in the sink and just left the mess, it was disgusting to say the least.
A bit of road noise but when all the windows are closed couldn’t hear it.

Thank you for your feedback we are please you enjoyed your stay overall.
The wash area is about to have a pre-fab roof fitted which will encompas a seperate entrance/partion to the elson point.
The outside sinks and toilet block are cleaned by a member of staff each day, but as you say we cant stop other visitors leaving a mess but stress that this is cleaned daily and if seen earlier this will be cleaned and dealt with by a member of staff.
We currently have just placed the slab base in which will have 4 x unisex/family showers usable by anyone as required, this is 5 feet to the left of the current modern shower/toilet block.
we hope if you are in the area again you will call in or perhaps stay

Liked: Stayed over Easter this year with family and had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not far from the city centre or the zoo. Loved the café and pet shop on site, really useful. The Pesto restaurant is about 20 minutes walk, but food was amazing. Would definitely stay again, but would try and get a pitch away from the main road as I'm a light sleeper. I didn't think the pictures on this site did it justice.

Liked: Ideal position for access to Chester, bus stop just out side with buses every hour.
tea room/cafe on site which serves a great breakfast which sets you up for the day.
Good flat hard standing with electric and water on the pitch. I believe the owners are continuing to upgrade this site, and we would definitely stay here again.
Staff very helpful.
The Pesto at the yacht about a 20min walk away with a great beer garden and food.
Disliked: Only one shower but I think there are plans to install more.
Dog off it leads most of the weekend. The owner obviously didn't read the site instruction you received on arrival.

Liked: This site is the cleanest campsite I have stayed at. It has WIFI good toilet facilities and friendly owners. Don't understand some of the negative feedback saying not enough facilities most campsites are like this. The campsite is next to a main road but again when camping there are usually people close by being noisy. Would highly recommend.
