We spent a lovely long weekend at Strathlene. we were made very welcome by the warden, who lead us to our pitch, facing the beach front. The site is well maintained, with very clean toilet block, (although a bit dated). during the week end we were part of a convoy of three caravans, to which the wardens made us all very welcome, assist us with local hospitality and eateries, and even ensured our dogs were treated with loving care. These wardens went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable, and very pleasureable and we will definitely be back.

Stayed a couple of nights here on a recent camping trip.Small, quiet site in a seaside location run by friendly, helpful resident wardens. Toilets and showers very clean and whole site generally well cared for.Site mainly occupied by static and touring vans but room for tents too. Probably the kind of site which is best suited to families with very young children or couples/solo travellers. A reasonably busy road runs past the site. This is a lovely area and there are coastal footpaths which are accesible from the site. Already looking forward to a return visit!

We only spent a weekend there, but I would recommend the place. Owners on site & very friendly. Very clean & best of all very affordable, some places tack on additional fees for just about everything, flat fee for the site & that's it.

Dog walking is over the road on the beach, the beach was a bit seaweed clogged but you can't hold the accountable for that.

We spent a week in july 2007. Very clean park, with owners on site, they were very welcoming and friendly, close to shops, pubs etc and a fantastic beach right accross the road. Caravan very clean and well kept grounds. Great site for visiting the surrounding areas
