This is a top-class Castels site set in the grounds of a large 18th century manor house, just a 20-minute drive from Calais and the Eurotunnel terminal. The owners have created a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the delightful gourmet restaurant and excellent take-away are both open all season. There are large pitches for long stays, a covered pool with waterslide and good children's play area. A popular 2 or 3 night stop but also ideal for weekend breaks because of the wealth of local attractions including war museums and an Adventure Park in the forest. Level individual grassy pitches some well-shaded. and one heated toilet block for low season customers. Used by tour operators. Special short break prices for up to 4 nights are avilable for pitches or for accommodation in chalets or mobilehomes. The site also has a hotel with family rooms. Ideal for a stopover en route.
