This really is a huge site located directly behind the dunes on Benar Beach. The are several caravan fields with serviced pitches and several more tent fields which must hold at least 500 tents. There is a a large shower block, laundry, shop, chip shop, bar with karaoke, childrens play area. The site also has a large number of static vans. The site attracts mixed ages but mostly the radio 1 playing late teens/early twenties crowd so I definitely would not recommend it for those wanting a quiet holiday as noise can be a problem. The site is efficiently run and is patrolled regularly. All pitches are grass. One thing to note: as the site is right behind the dunes, in the evening a sea mist rolls in and settles over the site causing the temperature to drop considerably. Worth taking your woollies even in summer. We stayed there once but wouldn't go back as we prefer smaller quieter sites.
