We booked Ballywhiskin as a last minute weekend getaway. We were pleased with the close proximity to the beach, we were impressed with the facilities for the touring caravans and the children enjoyed that the park was so close to the touring pitches. However, our experience of Ballywhiskin quickly changed when the children's belongings, including a scooter, began getting stolen one after the other, to the point that early on Sunday morning we packed up and left because the children from the static caravans had stolen our son's ball from him and was using it to kick into his face and knock him off the climbing frame. Our son is just turned six and has no previous experience of dealing with people like this and to be honest we were horrified. I would absolutely not reccommend this site to anyone with children or bikes or scooters. Completely disappointing and we will not be back under any circcumstances. The children from the static caravans are thrown out to play from early morning and completely without adult supervision. They behaved like complete low lives. Disappointing. And an expensive lesson to learn as we will have to replace the children's stolen toys.
