Woodlands Park Touring Caravan and Camping Park is an award winning, four-star holiday park close to the popular town of Tralee, in the picturesque south west corner of Ireland.
Woodlands Park is a family and dog friendly campsite, which is open annually from February to November. The park welcomes guests with motorhomes, caravans and tents. The caravan and motorhome pitches here are all hardstanding and are fully serviced, with electricity, water and drainage hook-ups. These pitches are all extra wide, too, so guests are guaranteed space and privacy during their stay.
There are three separate tent camping areas at Woodlands Park, with pitches available both with and without electric hook-ups.
There are male and female shower blocks with hot showers, baby changing facilities and hairdryers, and a laundrette, while the well-equipped camper’s kitchen has a microwave, toaster, kettle, food preparation areas and more. There's also an all weather barbecue area with picnic tables, so you can enjoy the fun of a barbecue whatever the weather.
A small book exchange area is available for guests who've run out of reading material, while free Wi-Fi is also provided. In addition, there's a TV room with a big screen and a DVD player, along with a games room featuring pool tables and air hockey. There is also an exciting adventure playground that children love, while the Lego area is very popular! This site has lots of space for dog walking, while the park entrance is close to a beautiful riverside walk for guests to enjoy.

The Aqua Dome is an amazing place to spend a day, and is a water park like no other! As well as enjoying regular swimming and paddling, guests can enjoy a wave machine, a water rapids feature, numerous water slides and a range of other features, including some that are outdoors. For two fun activities in one, guests can also enjoy Aqua Golf at the same site. Guests are encouraged to buy their Aqua Dome tickets from the reception of this campsite in order to enjoy significant discounts.
Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre is another good day out for the whole family, with some great wildlife to explore and amazing views across Tralee Bay and the rest of the town. There are also some exciting activities to be enjoyed on the lake, including zorbs, canoeing and pedaloes.
The nearest fishing village, Fenit, has a beautiful pier and great beach where it’s safe to paddle and swim, while there are also rock pools to explore and places to fish from the beach. Kerry County Museum, Crag Cave and Dingle Oceanworld offer indoor days out for rainy days, while there is also a wealth of archaeological sites in and around Tralee.

A really good large site with plenty of space and really clean facilities.
Plenty to keep occupied and Tralee town only a 10/15 minute walk away.
If contemplating...it's a definite visit for 3-5 days and then move on.
