Morriscastle Strand is the ideal location for the family seaside holiday, where the combination of an excellent sandy beach, modern, well-maintained facilities, and plenty of space for kids are available. Two laundrettes, a shop and a take-away in the high season, comprise some of the basic facilities available whilst we also have two tennis-courts, a grass football pitch and basketball practice area. Try us for the traditional seaside family holiday. We regret that we can no longer have touring or camping pitches.

We have just returned from Holiday which commenced on the 1/8/2011 starting in Somerset and ending at Morriscatle Strand in Wexford. I have stayed in many caravan sites and used their facilities but have never experienced anything like the above. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unsure if they could accomodate us if we wanted to stay an extra night as they were very busy. We were given a site number which can only be described at a piece of uneven ground covered in soil. Weeds were growing up around the site and dog mess on the grass. Showers and toilets old and outdated. The beach was indeed beautiful the only redeeming thing. We could not move on as we were ending our 3 wks holiday and had to endure this site for 3days. Would not visit this site again and do not understand the rave reviews it receives on its web site. Some people are easy pleased.

when we arrived at the site which was recommended to us by a friend we immediately felt welcome. There was a lovely family atmosphere. The kids loved it we will definately be returning again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were lots of things to do but it was the simple pleasure of being able to be on beautiful clean beach within minutes was what impressed us. This site must be one of the best kept secrets in co. Wexford.

This is a nice site for families , we arrived on a Saturday evening , the site was nearly full , we had plenty of room , the site is right beside the beach , you just walk 20 meters through a sand dune down to the beautiful sandy beach. Facilities were very clean , though the showers were not temperature adjustable they were just set at the one temperature , to hot for my children . all in all I would and have recomended this site to other people.

We drove from a Two Star, Carnac Valley site in Dublin to stay at the Four Star Morriscastle Strand Family Caravan and Camping Park and boy were we disappointed? It is the worst site we have ever stayed at in over thirty years of touring, Ireland, Europe and The United States. The pitches are not near level even with chocks, they are to small and to close together, the road around the site is just a load of gravel thrown on a field. I would not recommend this site.
