A quiet site on the banks of the Avonmore River and on the edge of the Wicklow Mountains. An ideal touring base being within 1.5 hours of both Dublin and Rosslare with train and bus services from the village. The village, a 10-minute walk away includes several pubs, shops and restaurants. On site there is trout fishing.

Our natural timber cabins are set on the edge of our own private lake with decking to the front. Each cabin has two bedrooms one double, one bunk, and full kitchen and bathroom facilities.

We are unable to accommodate Commercial Vehicles, or units other than specific tourist units

Far & Away, Braveheart, Excalibur, Ballykissangel and Reign Of Fire, lead down to sandy beaches, so whether you like to hill climb or lounge around on the beach you will find it all in County Wicklow.

Golf - over 9 major courses in 1 Hour.
Fishing - fresh and saltwater also close to a new disabled angling facility in Aughrim.
Horse Riding - Walking - Bird Watching - Cycling; there are endless miles of forest and mountain trails to follow.

For a special day out why not visit the many beautiful gardens or close by Avondale house or Clara Lara Fun Park or learn about 6th century monks at Glendalough visitor center.

Rathdrum is central to it all, on the main train and bus routes, just down from the R752 past Rathnew or Arklow, on the N11 motorway, only an hour from Dublin and Rosslare, the main ferry ports.

Get ready to be impressed! This campsite is leagues above the rest with modern facilities, spacious sites, friendly and helpful staff, activities on site for both teenagers and children, beautiful setting, town nearby, etc. We were recommended to this site by friends and we have now recommended to all of our family and friends. Hidden gem to say the least.
