Fantastic campsite.

Caroline could not be more helpful and the facilities were amazing - showers better than you'd find in a 5 star hotel, really are.

The whole site is incredibly clean, fantastic views, etc. Really useful information pack supplied as well as plenty of extra information given verbally by Caroline on arrival.

They have just arranged a hot-food van to start visiting the site both in the evenings and again at breakfast time but the highlight for me was the regular visits by Jen's ice-cream van. I'll admit to being a bit of an ice-cream addict but these were the biggest ice-creams I have ever had.

Fantastic couple of days, thank you.

Initial impression was a lovely spacious site with great views over the Dorset countryside, but it was downhill from there.... Not exactly an overly welcome reception from the site owner. We were allocated our pitch and soon discovered that the site suffers from bad traffic noise being located on a main B road between Dorchester and Sherbourne. The washing facilities were very poor, not regularly cleaned and the showers, you had to pay 20p for. The Ladies shower did not allow you to adjust the water temperature and it was on the hot side for the few minutes 20p bought you. A hairdryer was available - again at a charge which I think should be mentioned on their website, as if they advertise these amenities any charges should be made clear. So all in all I would not recommend this site to anyone, although We absolutely loved the area - Dorset is a beautiful part of the country.
