Carrington Park is one of the best holiday parks in Hampshire, a sprawling yet quiet estate filled with over 100 privately owned holiday homes. The park is open from March to January, only closing for the first two months of the year, making it the ideal getaway for anyone who loves spending time on the south coast of England.
The park is well situated between the quaint, friendly village of Milford-on-Sea, which can be reached via a short walk, as well as the coast, where there are a number of secluded beaches for you and your family to discover and enjoy.
Carrington Park is definitely a location best suited to those who love spending time in the outdoors, whether that is sailing boats or windsurfing in the sea, playing golf at one of the many courses in the area, or simply walking along the coastline or through the countryside taking in the best of the fresh air and inspirational views. The site overlooks the Isle of Wight as well as giving great views of the Western Solent and The Needles.
While Carrington Park offers great views and a relaxing holiday experience in its own right, staying there also gives you easy access to the huge New Forest National Park, where the whole family can enjoy a range of activities, from walking and cycling through the woodland to archery, climbing, and abseiling.
The Hampshire coastline is also a hotbed of great independently owned restaurants, pubs, and cafes, meaning if you want to eat out there is always an option, however you are feeling on a particular day. Carrington Park is also within easy reach of many other beautiful places along the south coast, including Bournemouth and Poole, while a short drive to Lymington will give access to the Isle of Wight ferry.
Having had a caravan at this site for one year now our family spend 3 out of 4 weekends at Carrington Park. Milford on Sea is an unspoilt and very friendly large village, yet within a few miles of Bournemouth.. The site is well run, always clean and tidy and the location is magnificent, less than 500 yards from the sea, with a facinating tidal pond with lots of bird life just outside the park.
I would not hesitate in recomending this park to anyone who is looking for a quiet and friendly site in a lovely area.
