Your own five star holiday home in 1066 country
In the heart of the East Sussex countryside, yet just five miles from the coast, lies Crowhurst Park, a 16th century country house surrounded by parkland with views across open countryside to the sea.
The Simmons family first opened the park in 1973. Since that time we have made constant improvements and have always been committed to the highest levels of service. We have twice been voted South East England Tourist Board Holiday Park of the Year, and we have been awarded five stars by the England Tourism Council, with four stars for our self-catering accommodation.
The 120 acre Crowhurst Park Estate is approached along a half mile private drive lined with Rhododendron, Pine and Beech. The park provides a home to badgers, pheasants and countless wildlife; and we have gained recognition of our environmental awareness through the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award.
It is into this setting that we have built a number of Pinelodges. These feature two or three bedrooms, lounge, dining area, kitchen and bathroom. Each enjoys carefully chosen furnishings and is double glazed and centrally heated for year round comfort. (Pine is a natural insulator so you will find our lodges are cool in summer and warm in winter). Parking is provided close to each lodge.
Facilities within the park include a magnificent pool and leisure complex, all weather tennis court, a children's adventure play area – and the local village cricket pitch! In the Grade II listed manor house itself are bars, coffee shop, dining room, games room, lounge and ballroom.
Within easy reach of Crowhurst Park are all the recreational activities you could wish for. We are situated in the heart of 1066 Country – the birthplace of modern England: just two miles away is the very battlefield where William the Conqueror defeated King Harold at the Battle of Hastings.
