Holiday next to a glorious stretch of sandy beach on England’s South East Coast. Grey Tower Caravan Park takes its name from the old Martello Tower that stands proudly at its heart. The park’s intimate size ensures a peaceful atmosphere perfect for anyone seeking a quiet seaside escape.
The park lies in the ancient village of Pevensey Bay. The surrounding area oozes with history. Mighty castles and grand houses dot the landscape and old forts guard the coastline. Numerous museums preserve the fascinating stories that have shaped the local area and display its many treasures.
Pevensey Bay borders the far eastern edge of the South Downs National Park, an area of chalk hills, thick woodlands and tall white cliffs. A short way inland is the Pevensey Levels National Nature Reserve. A huge selection of walking and cycling trails lie waiting to lead you through the amazing local landscapes.
Nearby Eastbourne is a Victorian seaside resort complete with a traditional pier. The town is home to a fantastic selection of local pubs, restaurants and independent shops. If you’re looking for thrills, you’ll find plenty at any one of the nearby theme parks.
Grey Tower Caravan Park offers static holiday caravans available for purchase, seasonal tourer pitches, tourer and motorhome storage, bicycle storage, boat berths, and a beach hut available to rent for the holiday season. An onsite shop stocks all necessities and the resident manager is there during the summer to offer assistance whenever you need it and look after the site through winter.
DirectionsIf travelling from the North or West, head towards Eastbourne along the A22 or A27. Just before Eastbourne, turn onto the A27 to Hastings. Follow the A27 through Polegate. At the service roundabout (A27 and A259 junction) take the exit to Pevensey. Immediately turn left at the traffic lights and follow the road through Pevensey Bay.
