The touring caravan and camping site offers twenty five hard standings and ten level grass pitches for tents. All pitches have optional electric hook up and the site has low level illumination, a brand new service block with laundry and facilities for disabled visitors. It is advisable to book your pitch in advance during the holiday season. Another field is available for large organised camps and Duke of Edinburgh award groups.

We were very impressed with this campsite - definitely a hidden treasure and very reasonable at only £11.50 per night.
The site is quite basic, in terms of facilities but is good value for the fee. It is situated right in the heart of the country park, with easy, flat access to the lakes and the most beautiful views. The site is ideal for dogs, with endless walks available in a number of different directions and lots of different wildlife.
