Llandow Touring Caravan Park was established in 1991 as a perfect Welsh getaway. The park is a family run and family focused. Located in the Vale of Glamorgan, we cater to caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents, winnebagos and tents. Our season goes from February to November. The campsite has been awarded a silver David Bellamy Conservation Award. LLandow features in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2014, a list of the most loved caravan parks in the UK put together by Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines
Llandow first section contains 100 pitches, a shop that is open all week. The shower and toilet block are all well equipped. There is free hot water in the indoor dishwashing area. Facilities include a freezer, a laundry with a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. There are electric hook-ups, water points, recycling facilities, a chemical toilet disposal point. The children's play area is fenced off for safety of your young ones.
In 2012, Llandow Touring Caravan Park added a new area with 75 more pitches. The new development is focused on accommodating couples and visitors with disabilities. A brand new shower and toilet block has disabled facilities, excellent laundry and washing up amenities – and as in the original campsite, water and electric hook-ups, recycling facilities and somewhere to dispose of your chemical toilet. For those with dogs there is a £1 extra charge to bring your pet. The park has a dedicated dog walking area for you to exercise them.
There are a finite amount of hardstanding pitches, so be sure to request one when you book if you are in need of one. We offer secure caravan storage, almost half of the 175 pitches in the park are seasonal – free wifi is available site-wide.
Llandow is the perfect base for anyone wishing to visit Cardiff and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast which is only 3 miles away. The coast offers beautiful views and great walks.
Llandow itself is within easy access from the M4 motorway. Being on the most southernly point of Wales there are loads of watersports on offer, surfing, windsurfing and kayaking and kitesurfing are all easily doable nearby.
Despite Llandow's secluded location the capital city of Cardiff is only a 30 minute drive away. Swansea is also less than an hour drive from the park. Llantwit Major, the market town of Cowbridge are close to the park.
