Llandow Touring Caravan Park was established in 1991 as a perfect Welsh getaway. The park is a family run and family focused. Located in the Vale of Glamorgan, we cater to caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents, winnebagos and tents. Our season goes from February to November. The campsite has been awarded a silver David Bellamy Conservation Award. LLandow features in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2014, a list of the most loved caravan parks in the UK put together by Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines

Llandow first section contains 100 pitches, a shop that is open all week. The shower and toilet block are all well equipped. There is free hot water in the indoor dishwashing area. Facilities include a freezer, a laundry with a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. There are electric hook-ups, water points, recycling facilities, a chemical toilet disposal point. The children's play area is fenced off for safety of your young ones.

In 2012, Llandow Touring Caravan Park added a new area with 75 more pitches. The new development is focused on accommodating couples and visitors with disabilities. A brand new shower and toilet block has disabled facilities, excellent laundry and washing up amenities – and as in the original campsite, water and electric hook-ups, recycling facilities and somewhere to dispose of your chemical toilet. For those with dogs there is a £1 extra charge to bring your pet. The park has a dedicated dog walking area for you to exercise them.

There are a finite amount of hardstanding pitches, so be sure to request one when you book if you are in need of one. We offer secure caravan storage, almost half of the 175 pitches in the park are seasonal – free wifi is available site-wide.

Llandow is the perfect base for anyone wishing to visit Cardiff and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast which is only 3 miles away. The coast offers beautiful views and great walks.

Llandow itself is within easy access from the M4 motorway. Being on the most southernly point of Wales there are loads of watersports on offer, surfing, windsurfing and kayaking and kitesurfing are all easily doable nearby.

Despite Llandow's secluded location the capital city of Cardiff is only a 30 minute drive away. Swansea is also less than an hour drive from the park. Llantwit Major, the market town of Cowbridge are close to the park.

I have stayed here a few times and quickly becoming a regular visitor! Why well a few reasons firstly because its kept beautifully clean and tidy. There are two main fields one contains s childrens park .shop, and is good for families with children . The other field is quieter so you have the best of both worlds! Its a very friendly site and they have onsite wardens who are pitched themselves to guide you onto the pitch and help not just that but anytime with any queries! Tje toilet blocks are modern very clean and cleaned morning and night. Its a great base for those visiting South Wales for easy access from the M4 East and West. Cowbridge Village is only a mile or so down the road which is a olde worlde place has a Tescos and a Waitrose. Good eating places there and within a 3 mile radius. Close to the beaches of Llantwit Major again a very olde worlde place with plenty to do very close to the site. Also a Gold Cassoa Site for storage and pitches available for the season if you so wish.I love it as its close to home but far enough to feel like youre not close to home !! A very warm welcome is always had here!

We stayed at Llandow Touring Park for 4 nights. The staff were courteous and helpful. Our children appreciated the wide space to play in the camping field. The facilities were clean, well-maintained and warm (which was important, given that the month was unseasonally cold), with plenty of hot water available. The showers were also great. It was always possible to ask for items, or make enquiries at the shop during the day, and answers as to where to locate a supermarket were thorough and helpful. As campers, we also found the freezer facility invaluable for supplying our cool-box.The only difficulty was that the proprietors had trouble locating our booking details on our arrival, due to an administrative confusion.
