Things to do in Northamptonshire
The Nene Valley and its numerous tributaries and wetlands form a connected landscape that provides a haven for a wonderful mix of wildlife. Explore woodlands, take a country walk or take a ride along one of the many cycle routes.
Below are some places that are worth a visit or for more inspiration whilst on our resort the Visitor Centre is located near the main entrance and is a mine of information.
Boost Trampoline Park
Consisting of differing courts including the Main Arena, Dodgeball Court, Kids Court, Slam Dunk Area, Foam Pit, Airbag Jump, Touch Walls, Gladiator Pits and Tumble Tracks, as well as an arcade and party rooms. Anyone over the age of 3 and people of all levels of fitness are welcome – even adults can join in the fun!
Drayton Manor
Create fun family memories at Drayton Manor Park, home of Thomas Land. Visit anytime throughout the main park season which usually runs between March and October. Enjoy all the thrills and spills of the park.
Woburn Safari Park
Expect a fun packed day, with plenty of animal encounters and wonderful wildlife. There are over 80 species of animals including lions, tigers and bears. Woburn Safari Park is an award winning attraction which makes a valuable contribution to conservation. It’s also a place where families can spend time together, seeing animals in a stunning environment.
Gulliver’s Land Theme Park
A family-run theme park designed for children aged between 2 to 13. From the Runaway Train in Discovery Bay to the Jungle River Ride, there are plenty of exciting rides to ensure that all the family have a fun day out. There are rides and play areas designed just for toddlers.
ZSL Whipsnade Zoo
Known as the UK’s biggest Zoo, this fantastic park is where you can find Elephants, Penguins, Rhinos, Lions, Tigers, Giraffe And So Much More!
Cadbury World
A self-guided exhibition tour about everyone’s favourite sweet treat. With a 4D experience, play area and, of course, the chance to get hands on and sample the delights it’s a fantastic day out for chocolate fans or all ages.
Althorp House
Althorp was built in 1508, by the Spencers, for the Spencers, and has remained that way for over 500 years. The interiors are captivating and the grounds stunning. It is also the resting place of the late Princess of Wales, Diana.
