The other reviews are very old, i stayed here last year and i have booked in for the summer too. loverly friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. completely relaxed there while the kids played safely on their scooters. fantastic holiday in a beautiful location. looking forward to my holiday again this year

Very disappointed in truth. The owners seemed very small minded in their approach to us, creating difficulties where there weren't any, off hand and unwilling to listen. For this reason alone I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. Good manors and a helpful, positive attitude cost nothing but do the world of good, but this is not anything you are likely to find at the Sandy Beaches.

How this site is advertised for children I don’t know. There is heavy machinery going up and down all the time, surely this sort of work should have been done in close season. The amusement arcade has a few machines but most are never working. They advertise an adult only bar but this isn't true as children go in. The children’s park is also falling to pieces. They also shorten the length of time these facilities are open towards the end of the season. My advice to any family looking to purchase a caravan is even if the site fees seem low if there isn't anything for them to do it will cost you a fortune in keeping them entertained.

This site was our ideal location for our retirement until the site was took over by new owners and a new management team. Within the last year the site has been converted into a construction site which has caused many families to leave as they feared for their children’s safety. As you drive onto the site you will still several dozens of empty caravan bases. This is not due to site development but due to long term caravan owners being forced to leave as the management team introduces new rules to benefit them and not the residents. So many people have lost out as what was once a well run and likable family site is now an ambitious money making scheme run by what can only be described as an incompetence management team.
