Nostell Priory Holiday Park is a charming and secluded holiday escape set in 300 acres of beautiful National Trust land – a perfect retreat in rural West Yorkshire. This campsite is ideal for those looking for a destination that is quiet, peaceful and truly away from it all, nestled within Priory Estate, Wakefield.
The park is open from mid February until mid January, and welcomes motorhomes and touring caravans on our touring park. There are also a number of holiday caravans that can be purchased for use for up to 11 moths per year.
All pitches at Nostell Priory Holiday Park have electric hook-ups. There are shower and toilet blocks on site, plus a small store so you can stock up on everyday essentials, and there's also a laundrette. Kids will love the small playground, while there is also an on site pitch and put. If you need something to eat or drink, fill up at the on site Four Seasons cafe, which sells a selection of food and drink, while the Woodside Retreat is a wonderful part of the site ideal for barbecues. For your peace of mind, entry is via electronic gates, there is 24-hour CCTV and a professional security team operate here, too.
This is a five-star park that also holds a gold David Bellamy Conservation Award. Indeed, Nostell Priory Holiday Park is ideal for families that love the outdoors. There are miles of woodland and countryside walking routes to discover, as well as several trails that stay within the site and National Trust property itself. Guests will also find a selection of lakes and small rivers where they can spend a relaxing day fishing either alone or with their family. Or enjoy a wander around Anglers Country Park, which is less than 10 minutes from this campsite.
There are lots of things to do in Yorkshire on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays. Wakefield is just a 20-minute drive away, Leeds is about a 35- 40-minute drive away, Doncaster is about a half hour drive from site and it'll take you around an hour to drive to Sheffield.
