This place is not even worthy of 1 a star !
Checked in Friday 3pm and left Friday 12pm at night !
Campsite roughest un Safest place I have ever stayed at !
Tried being nice and sending an email with grievances on how unsafe it was with driving around tents after 11 pm at night vans revving engines , and how loud the music and rough it was , thankfully I have my own footage, so now I have just opened a case with trading standards as contacting them direct has got me no where ! They have just denied it all and reckon there cctv saw nothing !
So onwards and upwards
If I can save one family from this disastrous site it will be worth pursuing it .

Me and my family stayed here last year we also stayed here a few years ago and I must say what a great experience and some great changes ! We were greeted on arrival with lovely smiley staff in reception and very helpful they was.
A new playing park on the touring field where my children can play. A toilet block and showers were very clean and nice and hot showers. Park warden was always around to help and guide us where our pitch was. We visited the retreat bar/ club house where upon we met Mr bumble a great children's entertainment! kept my children very busy and they LOVED him! with great entertainment in the evenings too. The bar food was delicious! and staff were very friendly. Also on site is a gym and swimming pool. The seafront isn't far from shearbarn and enjoyed the Hastings culture lots do and see. I must say we were busy everyday always something to do... Will be differently staying again!

Had a great time staying on this site! Our dog Ted loved the long walks through Hastings Country Park which is right next to the park. Shower and toilet facilties very clean and had underfloor heating which was great. Bar and restaurant was very clean and food was nice. Reccommend a day on the seafront, especially with kids. Plenty to keep us all entertained!

Found this park on Trip Advisor & looked great - we weren't disappointed! It was really quiet, not many people around, but it meant that we often had the pool to ourselves so the kids LOVED it! Restaurant/bar caters for kids really well, no complaints. Easy walk into the town (hard walk back up a steep never ending hill though!) Will definitely be returning in the summer.

The location was picturesk, but shower block had hardly any water pressure or heating so had to hike 15 mins to other shower block, some security very rude.
Security guard ripped the zip off our tent and staff did not repair it though one man had a go, the park manager was rude about our tent being destroyed.and offered no compensation and it was a brand new luxery tent.
The family pub was upstairs and over crowded and when you go out to smoke you freeze.
we could not take our dog into bar.
Nothing on site really for children or adults and wi fi disgustingly high in price.Hardly any disabled facilities, half the site has no security cameras and not much lighting.
The shop barely sells anything you need whilst camping.

Visited Hasting Touring Park which is across the road from Shearbarn. We are two adults two children in a touring van was slightly worried due to other negative review. Could not have been more wrong. Half term week plenty of space facilities very good. There were security who very pleasant and staff in the main recetpion of Shearbarn where you have to book in very helpful and organised. Would have not problem recomending this site.

I've literally just got back from two nights camping at Shearbarn. I am sad to say I will NEVER go there again. Sad because I have been going there for well over ten years, and the decline in standards there has now reached the point where I have to say enough is enough. I paid £34 for two nights in my two man tent. For that I got to put my tent in a field and nothing more... the toilet / shower block was locked and I was expected to walk about a quarter of a mile to share the facilities in the caravan field!!! On not one but BOTH nights, a group of yobs were easily able to gain access to the site, set up a tent, start a huge fire, play loud music from their car, shout, swear, drink and smoke drugs, until about three in the morning, when two of the four went and slept in their car just outside the site and the other two went to the tent and eventually to sleep!! Needless to say they had not paid their £17! This went on for TWO nights despite being told that there was a barrier entry system and guard until 2am 'for our security' !! This place is dangerous and very intimidating. Don't go there! p.s. I DO NOT recommend this place, the review system will not let me reflect that!
