Spent another wonderful and hassle free weekend at the Ranch. I just love this park as the pitches are wide so my husband doesn't get uptight about reversing into pitches. The park is clean and tidy, the views beautiful and the owner takes an interest in his clients. The toilet block is the best I have come across as it is kept immaculately clean, is spacious and light and airy. Some of the pitches not only have electric and water but also have waste. The only thing this site lacks is a small clubhouse. It would spoil it if it was rowdy but just a small meeting place would be ideal!

Have just come back from our 4th visit to the Ranch and had another fantastic weekend even though the weather was pretty poor. A warm welcome was received from Thomas, family and staff. The spacious level touring pitches are mostly gravel, the lower level are individually separated by beautiful hedging. There is a rally field at the bottom of the park with EHU for tent and tourers and a play field / dog excersing area next to that. The fab new toilet / shower block opened last year and is clean and warm with great showers and good sized cubicles and has a local radio station playing through speakers - great for letting you know what's on in the area. This block also has a laundry area with washing up sinks. The site has a good play area for the children and a small area for toddlers with ride on cars etc. There is a small indoor heated pool, sauna and fitness room too which our kids love. The wee honesty shop allows you to drop off books you have already read and pick up another to read on your stay. The campsite is easily accessible and the town of Maybole with a small supermarket, butchers, fab bakery and chip shop is just a 5min drive away. The Ranch is just a few mins drive from Culzean Castle, Croy beach and the lovely Ayrshire coastline. Turnberry golf course is just a few miles south and Alloway, the birthplace of Rabbie Burns a few miles north. The tranquility and beautiful gardens of the Ranch itself makes it a lovely place to unwind and relax without having to go anywhere. The is a place although not too far from home for us, is now a firm favourite.

Had a last minute holiday in our new Campervan for the very first time. Phoned to make sure there was availability and was warmly welcomed to just come down by Mark (I think it was). Got there and Gillian(?) welcomed me in, happily got me booked in and told me about the place whilst taking my details.
Very close to Maidens and Culzean. Both worth a visit.
Maybole is also very close for any items you may have forgotten.
My family had a great time so we stayed another night.
Our kids couldn't get enough of the pool and would've stayed there all day if they could have. They also enjoyed the play park.
Toilet block and showers very clean and well kept, just like the entire park. Showers were on the hot side though which made showering difficult, that's the only negative thing I could say. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all at the Ranch who made it happen. You have a fantastic place.

We only stayed one night while traveling North. This is an excellent site, very clean and tidy. The facilities were excellent and lovely staff. We had a hard standing for a motor van with EHU and water on stand. I would highly recommend staying at this site and if we are in the area will stay again.

Very nice and clean campsite. Mainly pitches for campers etc. Despite late arrival, we were received very friendly and uncomplicated with own choice of pitch. Partly very beautiful view of the countryside. Located about 5 minutes by car from Culzean Castle. Very fair price for the offered comfort. Unreservedly recommendable.
