Don't go here!
Useless staff!
Overpriced totally inedible food!
Bar is always a pigsty!
Very expensive shop!
Beach is not 4-5 mins from any caravan!
Unless you jump off the cliff!

Poor at best. Basically, u get what u pay for. Old decor, and generally dirty. Club toilets were a disgrace. Evening entertainment was poor beyond belief, and u can hear it in your caravan until at least midnight. Avoid.

Shocking - Barmston Beach is a very odd place. We were told it was a 'family' park! Kids entertainment was non-existent, the few locals that frequented the awful bar area didn't take to holidaymakers. Most of the vans are owned by local divorcee's by our reckoning-most are over retirement age, most have annoying dogs and most didn't like children.

The park is disappearing into the sea and perhaps not soon enough! We felt like leppers and our kids bored. Park deceived us - as per the previous post - its all SELL SELL SELL..and the prices of the vans! Buy a boat instead, you might need it. A member of staff told us Skipsea is a far better site.

Upon arrival we were told we had been given a complimentary upgrade but later discovered that this was because we had paid more than double for a extra room. When we entered the caravan first appearances were good, it was a nice caravan but the standard of cleanliness left a lot to be desired so my 1st afternoon on holiday was spent cleaning! The following day we decided to have a bar meal as the prices were average and the menu looked good but we waited almost an hour for the food to arrive (despite the fact that the bar was completely empty!) and it was a small portion of what looked to have been left a while then microwaved food. When I queried the portion size I was told they had recently reduced the portions to avoid waste!!! We all left hungry and couldn't find any where else to eat for miles.
Some of the staff were friendly but most looked like they were waiting for their shift to end.
The pool and the adventure play area are about the only good aspects of this park and we will definately NOT be returning.

Barmston beach is a lovely place for a visit, But not to buy a caravan home. the site is only interested in you once you buy a van and the price of the van will depreciate so quickly. the sales staff change so much and will tell you all sorts. The entertainment is terrible and better to visit the town .the cliffs are disappearing into the sea and caravans are being moved all the time further back.
