Higher Penderleath Caravan & Camping Park is a charming, family friendly holiday destination in the heart of Cornwall, close to the popular coastal town of St Ives and on the edge of the beautiful Penwith Heritage Coast area.
The park is open all year and welcomes guests with tents, trailer tents, motorhomes, and touring caravans.
A selection of serviced and non-serviced pitches are available at the site. Seasonal pitches are available for guests looking to return to Higher Penderleath Caravan & Camping Park throughout the season. The park also manages a holiday cottage on the site, which can be booked for short breaks.
The site has four spacious fields, and from April 1st to the start of the school summer holidays part of the park is designated as adults only, so guests looking for a quiet stay away from family groups can easily be catered for.
A wide selection of facilities is available to ensure guests’ comfort during their stay, including a modern amenities block with toilets, showers, and more. The on-site shop is well-stocked and ensures guests can pick up their groceries or holiday essentials without needing to leave the site, and there is a small play area for kids as well as plenty of open space for ball games and other activities. The on-site bar is the centre of community life at the park, and serves food in the evenings.
The bar has a beer garden, at the bottom of which there is the games room, complete with pool tables, amusements, and more.
Higher Penderleath Caravan & Camping Park is just five minutes from St. Ives, with a bus running direct into the town from the site, ideal for guests looking to relax and leave the car behind. St Ives is a lively town that has something for everyone, from art galleries and museums for those interested in culture to leisure centres, parks, and golf courses for those looking to get active. St Ives also has some incredible cafés, bars, and restaurants, along with some of the best beaches in all of Cornwall.
The beaches in this corner of England are renowned for their cleanliness and natural beauty, and offer golden sands and warm seas. While many of the beaches at St. Ives and around the coastline are perfect for swimming and paddling, others offer adrenaline fuelled fun with surfing, jet skiing, and various other pursuits able to be enjoyed. Those preferring to relax during their time in Cornwall but spend time outdoors will find numerous great spots for enjoying a day of fishing.
Guests looking to explore the Penwith Heritage Coast can take the iconic South West Coastal Path, which offers miles of walking and access to amazing countryside, beaches, and cliff-top views. In the car, visits to Penzance and Land’s End should be considered a must, with the latter offering the chance to view the sunset across the Atlantic.

stayed for 4 nights this site is very clean and tidy ,great views,close 2 st ives,staff very helpfull and friendy,pub on site, play ground 4 kids,games room with pool table ,showers were very nice,really enjoyed my stay here camping

If your going to St. Ives then Penderleath is the place to stay. The facilities are excellent and the showers are the best ever. Chris & Mandy are really friendly & helpful. The site is clean, with good pitches and beautiful views.
