For camping holidays in Cornwall, Trevornick Holiday Park is hard to beat. It's near a glorious sandy beach and is one of Cornwall's top five-star caravan sites, with plenty to offer you. Trevornick Holiday Park boasts high quality facilities, such as a heated swimming pool, indoor soft play area, 18-hole golf course, fun park, fishing lake and a choice of shops, restaurants and bars on the campsite itself.
Don't miss Daisy's Ice-cream Parlour (new in 2014), which sells the delicious local Kelly's ice-creams and sorbets. You won't have to travel far once you've pitched up on site, because you'll find delicious locally-sourced food dished up in the new campsite restaurant, Fodders.
Trevornick Holiday Park is located next to the soft sandy beaches of lovely Holywell Bay. It's a dog-friendly beach owned by the National Trust and is just five miles from Newquay on the spectacular north coast of Cornwall.
This is a family owned campsite, and the owners say that they work hard to ensure quality lies behind everything that they do. The facilities are immaculately kept and the campsite has seven fields for you to choose from, with a range of pitch types. Campers with dogs are welcome on Hay Field and Red Field.
Standard Pitches are the basic grass pitches. Electric Hook-up Pitches are also on grass, but have 10Amp 240V electric terminals.
If you're on holiday in your motorhome or caravan, you might enjoy one of the more luxurious campsite pitches. Premium Pitches are larger than standard pitches, situated in a prime camping location, with water, electric, TV connection and on-site movie channel.
Premium Plus Pitches offer the same camping facilities as the premium pitches but have the added extra of an all-weather semi hard standing base (Rockpegs are recommended for tents and awnings).
Super Pitches are larger than the Standard Pitches, and are situated in a prime location, with water, electric, grey waste drainage, TV connection and an on-site movie channel.
Super Plus Pitches offer the same facilities as the Super Pitches but have the added extra of an all-weather semi-hard standing base (Rockpegs are recommended for tents and awnings).
Don't despair if you have no tent, caravan or motorhome of your own. At Trevornick you can go glamping in one of the pre-erected Eurotents. These have electricity to power lights, heating and running water on tap. More canvas cabins than ordinary tents, they cost from £159 for three nights or £213 for four nights, depending on the time of year.
Fodders family-friendly restaurant with a rustic interior, serving fresh, healthy locally-sourced food for all the family. Check out the cow-hide fabrics and cartwheel chandeliers, which give a clue as to the barn's former use on the farm!
Daisy's ice-cream parlour is also new for 2014 at Trevornick and it offers locally made ice-creams and sorbets from Kelly's.
The farm shop and games area have both been spruced up with new décor and there's a brand new children's indoor soft play area.
Trevornick Holiday Park is currently running glamping mini-breaks allowing families to camp in complete comfort in one of the park’s fully fitted Eurotents. Equipped with electricity to power lights, heating and running water on tap, there isn’t a tent peg in sight in these cool ‘canvas cabins’.
