Meadowhead's Mortonhall Caravan & Camping Park

Mortonhall Caravan and Park is a 4 star graded park and is situated in a 200 acre country estate offering you the ideal holiday experience, which is Open All Year. On the south side of Edinburgh, within the city boundary and easy reach of the ring road and city centre, Mortonhall is superbly situated for visiting Edinburgh and the surrounding area. Our quality Holiday Homes, Wigwams and Shepherd Huts are exactly what you require from an award winning Holiday Park that provides the perfect contrast of country living and city entertainment. Situated on the main bus route you are only fifteen minutes from Castles, Galleries, National Museums, Restaurants, Shopping, Theatres and during the summer months the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Mortonhall Caravan & Camping Park Holiday Homes are centrally heated, double glazed and come with a fully equipped kitchen. They can sleep up to 6 (two bedrooms) or 8 (three bedrooms) comfortably with linen and towels included. We have easy access holiday homes that allow full wheelchair movement throughout and we are a pet friendly park.

For those of you who want to be more at one with nature but have some home comforts too, then our Wigwams are for you. Available all year round they are very cosy, well insulated, made from sustainable wood and can accommodate up to five people. Each Wigwam contains a kettle, fridge, electric heater, microwave and TV. You will also enjoy the use of a picnic table and stone built BBQ. The Wigwam kitchen, shower and WC facilities are also nearby. Don't forget to bring your bedding with you - just remember, if you need it for a tent, you'll need it for our Wigwam. Parking is provided near your Wigwam with children under 15 going half price and children under 5 free. Book midweek for further reductions. For couples why not try our 'Bijou' Shepherd Huts, with stove gas fire heating, king size bed, mini kitchen and en suite toilet and shower these are ideal for couples.

Motorhome, Caravan Touring and Camping guests can be accommodated on either grass or hard standing pitches with or without electricity and with easy access to shower, RV and chemical disposal facilities. There is a launderette with ironing facility on site and numerous picnic benches and play areas for children.
