Holiday in Derry beside sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, romantic ruins and a championship-level golf course. Castlerock Holiday Park lies at the heart of the seaside resort town of Castlerock. It’s a wonderful place to own or rent a holiday home in Derry County and also welcomes motorhomes and tourers.
The long, sandy, Blue Flag awarded Castlerock Beach is a short walk from the park, and four more are within easy reach. Overlooking the sands from the clifftop is Mussenden Temple, a historic building that stands within the grounds of the enchanting remains of Downhill House. Further along the coast, the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle cling to the top of a rocky crag that juts out to sea.
Castlerock Golf Club is just a few minutes walk from the park. This championship course set among towering dunes has been awarded Ireland's Hidden Gem for Links Golf on the North Coast, and is just one of four local courses. For mountain walks and hikes, head to the nearby heights of Antrim Plateau.
Pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops can all be found in the surrounding town. Onsite there is a games and sports area, a play area and a café.

We spent two weeks at this Holiday Park in a rental 'Park Model' home (caravan). Having travelled from Ontario, on arrival, we were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the unit and the level of equipment supplied within. Anyone who has rented a unit that is 'below standard' will appreciate the fact that this can make or break your vacation.
We have a young family and before long they were enjoying the freedom and safety the park has to offer, with the play park close at hand. The Play Park was in a good condition and we observed the staff maintain it during our stay
We used the Park as a base to see the wonderful north coast area of Ireland and enjoyed the peaceful tranquility offered by the nearby beach and scenic walks.
The only improvement we could recommend would be for the Holiday Park to have it's own website with the facility to book a vacation online with a credit card.

Magnificent place to holiday! Wonderful family atmosphere. Well maintained by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We have been coming here for years and have had one minor complaint that was resolved immediately. We wouldn't holiday anywhere else now that we've found this gem.
