Springhouse Boutique Holiday Park is excellently situated to utilise as a base for exploring the local area and discovering the incredible array of interesting and beautiful places to visit. We are only three miles away from Slaley Hall which provides one of the most scenic and challenging golf venues in the country (our Holiday Homes owners get a discount). There are two championship courses on offer which have hosted an annual event on the European tour for several years.

Derwent Reservoir - 20 minutes
Go Ape in Matfen - 30 minutes
Prudhoe Waterworld - 30 minutes
Corbridge - 15 minutes

You could spend every visit simply relaxing on the Park. But there's so much to see and do on your doorstep too! Picturesque Hexham is your nearest town, (approximately 5 miles), recently voted Britain's favourite market town by Country Life magazine, and winner of two categories in the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom competition. Its magnificent abbey was founded in 674AD and it is an interesting mix of historic buildings, enticing streets, lively independent shops and High Street retailers.

Caravan park is in a remote location but it was perfect for what we wanted, there is a little play park and football pitch on site that my children loved as well as seeing all the wildlife nearby. Caravan was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

This is an ideal location in the countryside and not too far to travel to Hexham. Lovely country walks from the site. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure we had a lovely stay. Would definitely return.

The park itself was lovely and location perfect for long forest walks - middle of nowhere, quiet and well maintained.

The only thing preventing me giving this 10/10 was the price of the wifi which you pay for separately. The process itself is straight forward enough and whilst there are a number of different passes to choose from, the issue is you pay per device. For a family of 4 or 5, this can work out to be quite expensive and the quality of the connection doesn't always provide trouble free streaming

Check in/out was contactless.

Staff and holiday homeowners were all pleasant and friendly.

Park is immaculate and quiet. There is a lovely walk around the outside of the park.

A great base for exploring Northumberland. We had days out at Alnwick Gardens and Kielder Water and Forest Park and a day in Morpeth at the park and dino golf. Even the rainy weather didn't dampen our enthusiasm to get out and about.

If you want remote and peaceful you can't have everything so this was not a surprise.

Had a lovely break in the Derwent Lodge on this beautiful park in the middle of nowhere. The Lodge was lovely, with a range cooker & American style fridge freezer, plus a master bedroom with en suite. It felt very luxurious!
The park is very quiet, but that is exactly what we wanted, so suited us perfectly. We walked in the surrounding woodland which is really beautiful & visited some beautiful attractions in Northumberland.

From begin to the end this was a totally amazing break away. Stunning lodge with amazing location close to Hexham, great for peace and relaxing. We will be returning to this Park in the future.
