We had great hopes of this site, the site manager was lovely and kept the place tidy, but the shower block was awful. There were four same sex shower/toilets rooms, in much need of upgrade, which we were told was coming. Key code for shower block door which was continually left open, and as the entrance was offsite, in pub car park, not good. Again no signs. Door closer in situ but not working. Not enough facilities in number for the number of pitches. No clear signage about dogs in shower block and my husband experienced two holidaymakers with three dogs in total “having a bark off”! There was no covered washing up facility and it had only cold water. Steps everywhere, so difficult to empty grey water, or access showers. We were lucky as we could wash up in our unit but no good for tents. No lighting so make sure you take torches. No freezer block service, no shop for essentials, also the lack of these facilities was not reflected in the price. We have stayed at much better sites for £100 less for a week.
