Enjoy Kintyre with its rocky headland, Saddle bay and Castle. There are many Forest trails and walks. Campbeltown has both a Museum and a Heritage centre which are a must to appreciate the history of the area. There is also a whisky trail and a cycle trail.

Peninver is just down the Kintyre coastline from Skipness where the ferry for the short Arran crossing leaves from. This makes for another nice day out. Arran boasts of gardens, many golf courses and an abundance of beautiful Scottish scenery.
