Site was well looked after plenty of room, play area was a huge bonus with the kids, shop on site fish and chips on Saturdays, toilets and shower block a plenty, good space to go for a walk with the pram to get kids off to sleep. will be going back but this time in a caravan as when we stayed last time it thunder and lightening all night tent got a bit wet but still fun.

Clean, well tended pitches, friendly staff decent enough shop.
Bit isolated, little in the immediate locality, good shop on site. Waste dumps old and need attention very dated. Dog walking limited to the site and a single field, lots of fields around but no access.

Excellent site, both Wardens & owners friendly & helpful, great for kids, no good if you like partying..which we dont!! Ideal location if you have a dog, easy access to Whitby, Scarborough & Bridlington
Our last trip away in caravan, vale of pickering is a very well maintained caravan park, the pitches are hard standing and reasonably level, bring rock pegs. The showers and toilets are clean, modern and very well kept. Theres also a cafe and small shop and reception. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I realy cant fault the site at all and we enjoyed our stay no end. The only pitfall was storm Amy so a few sleepless nights. Would highly recommend the caravan park and im sure we will be back. Well done to all

Excellent caravan and camping site, I stayed in my touring caravan with my wife on the caravan side and my kids with grandchildren stayed on the camping side in there tent, beautiful location with shop and cafe, kids where entertained playing in the designated children's play area, Scarborough and Whitby where only about 35 minute drive away so plenty of days out, toilets and caravan facilities where top class, I would definitely stay here again

We had a fabulous stay here, the place is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a short drive into both Thornton Le Dale and Pickering a bit further a field over the moors we visited Goathland and Whitby. I would definitely recommend this place . Thank you for our stay.
