Enquire Now You enquired

Hawthorne Caravan Park is hidden away beautifully in the North West corner of England, outside of the town of Morecambe in the popular Middleton Sands area, a quiet retreat yet only a stones’ throw away from major transport links for accessing the local area.

Open from March to January, this family friendly park is a collection of privately owned holiday homes sat close to the beach, serving as a great place to set up your regular retreats.

Although a small park, a sizeable children’s play area and a bar and restaurant facility in the centre of Hawthorne Caravan Park gives it a real community feel, somewhere you will want to visit during school holidays, weekends, and whenever you benefit from a bonus day off work!

The nearest village to Hawthorne Caravan Park is Heysham, but the ever-popular Morecambe is just 10 minutes away, with its excellent market, beaches, shops, pubs, and restaurants all waiting to be discovered by you. That is not all the local area is about, however. Set in the countryside, there is a real affinity with the outdoors that you will feel when you stay at Hawthorne Caravan Park. If relaxing on the beach is not for you, then horse riding, cycling, walking trails, and so much more are available for you to enjoy.

Historic Lancaster is within easy reach to, which itself serves as a gateway to the M6 motorway that will take you south to the large cities of Liverpool and Manchester, or north to give access to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Whether you want a relaxing weekend in the countryside with a meander to the beach thrown in, or a great base from which to explore this stunning area of north England, you have many options available when you buy a holiday home at Hawthorne Caravan Park.

We always love going through to Hawthorne. It's a lovely, peaceful spot not too far from Morecambe and not too far from Lancaster. It's not even that far from the Lakes.

We bought our holiday home there about 3 years ago and absolutely love it. It's roomy, comfortable, nicely decorated and has everything we could need inside.

The park itself has a bar which is nice, but when we go up we generally like to spend the evenings indoors. During the day we might go for a walk in the local area or take a trip to Morecambe to walk along the promenade or a trip to Lancaster to go shopping.

We own a caravan at Hawthorne and we love it there. Hidden away in the shores of Morecambe Bay, this park is very tranquil and peaceful. Everything we need can be found on site, but there are a lot of local shops and facilities in nearby Heysham.

Animals are allowed, and we enjoy beginning each day of our holiday with a stroll along the beach.

We always thoroughly enjoy our holidays here and would recommend Hawthorne to fellow holiday makers.
