Riverside Caravan Park - SY24

Nr Aberystwyth, Ceredigion

Enquire Now You enquired

If you have found Riverside Caravan Park you have done well. Sheltered in its own river valley, just a couple of miles from the coast, and seven miles from the bustling university town Aberystwyth, offering the ultimate in peace, quiet and seclusion for holiday home owners and visitors.

Set in 14 acres of spectacular woodland valley, the crystal clear River Leri meanders around the park. Go bird watching, fishing, rambling or just enjoy the peace and quiet around your very own home from home.

Riverside is the perfect place to stay for people who want to be situated in a tranquil location, but still have access to everyday life. With plenty of shops, pubs and cafes, the university town of Aberystwyth is a few miles away and is ideal for spending the day browsing. Take in the breathtaking views of the stunning coastline by walking the Coastal path or ramble through miles of beautiful countryside.

Riverside has a launderette and shower block on site, play areas for the children and is a popular park for dog owners and walkers alike. Wi-Fi is available. We are delighted to have been awarded the Silver accolade in our first year taking part in the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme. In addition, we have received 3 badges in the 5-in-5 habitat scheme and been recognised as a Honey Bee Friendly park.

There are many great attractions in the area. Just a couple of miles away and you will find yourself in Borth, a charming welsh village with a Blue Flag beach hosting the remains of an ancient sunken forest which can often be seen at low tide. Borth has a few shops, cafes and other attractions including a boutique cinema showing the latest releases. Ynyslas Nature Reserve is just past Borth and is an ideal stop for those love wildlife, walks through the sand dunes. Dogs are welcome on the beaches of Ynyslas all year round. Here you will also find Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club where day visitors are very welcome! Whilst in Ynyslas, why not pop to the cafe at our sister site, Searivers for a coffee and a snack.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, we have decided to only take long stay touring bookings for this season at Riverside. As the park is quite small and doesn't have a permanent reception we found it quite difficult last year to manage the 'track and trace' requirements. Please contact us for long stay touring information.

For the fit and keen holidaymaker there is a very pleasant (but challenging) cliff-edge costal walk between Aberystwyth and Borth. There's plenty to see and do.
Locally, Borth Animalarium is a ‘hands-on' Snake and Petting Barn with animal feeding for domestic, farm and exotic animals. Additionally, there are Pony Rides in the summer and a kiddies indoor ball pool. The Vale of Rheidol steam railway at Aberystwyth and the Talyllyn Railway, at nearby Tywyn, are both spectacular, while the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth, is a living community dedicated to developing sustainable technology.

I was disgusted by the way i was spoken to by the owner he has no manners and is aggressive and abrupt. he doesnt like to listen to any concerns you have he only likes the sound of his own voice. i would advise anyone who is thinking about using this caravan park for a holiday to give it a wide birth as it isnt worth paying the money to be spoken to like dirt and have your holiday ruined
