Glanlerry Caravan Park is a wonderful family holiday park in Wales, found close to the seaside town of Borth on the west Wales coast. The park itself sits in a beautiful section of unspoiled countryside, and offers pitches for guests with touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents, as well as offering permanent static caravans for sale when they become available.

The touring and camping field at Glanlerry Caravan Park is open from the middle of March until the middle of October every year. Electric hook-up pitches are available at the site, as are seasonal pitches for those planning to stay at the park as often as possible for lots of holidays throughout the season.

Facilities found at the site for guests comfort and enjoyment include a toilet block, power showers (subject to a small additional charge), a laundrette and chemical waste disposal point. The park stocks Calor Gas and Camping Gaz, with canisters available for exchange throughout guests’ stay.

Activities to enjoy on the park include a football pitch with goals and a children’s adventure playground, while there is plenty more open space to enjoy other ball games and family fun.

There is plenty more to do in the surrounding area, with miles of countryside perfect for walking and cycling, while there are horse riding centres situated across the Welsh countryside for guests wanting to travel around on horse back.

Many people are attracted to Borth, where you will find three miles of golden sandy beaches. These beaches are perfect for families who want to enjoy a range of seaside activities, such as rock pooling, paddling, and swimming. You can also find sand dunes near Borth, in Ynyslas National Nature Reserve, managed by the Countryside Council for Wales. This is an area with peat bogs and dunes, a haven for wading birds in the Dyfi Estuary.

Anyone wanting a walk will enjoy the coastal path that runs south from Borth into Aberystwyth, which offers incredible views out to sea as well as back across the countryside. The landscape around this region is hilly, rewarding those that take a challenging walk to the top with incredible panoramic views across much of Wales.

Mountain biking is available close by, while the 18-hole links golf course in Borth is one of the best golf centres in all of Wales.

Families will enjoy the Animalarium, found in the village, which houses exotic animals and two lions, while there is an RSPB Reserve found close by where the BBC has filmed its Springwatch programme.

The southern section of Snowdonia National Park is well within reach, with charming towns and villages including Aberdovey and Machynlleth, found nearby.

Visit Aberystwyth a University Town, from your base at Glanlerry Caravan Park. Aberystwyth is a great seaside holiday town to visit during holidays in west Wales. Drive further south to visit Llan-non, Aberaeron, and New Quay, from where you can take cruise trips around the picturesque Cardigan Bay and hopefully spot some Dolphins.

Glanlerry Caravan Park is a great place for your family tent, motorhome and caravan holidays in west Wales, with its beautiful coastal landscape and some great towns to visit, just a matter of minutes away.
