Glanlerry Caravan Park in Borth, West Wales offers peaceful family holidays near the beach, with touring pitches, camping, seasonal pitches and static caravans for sale. A quiet caravan park near Aberystwyth, close to Ynyslas dunes and the Wales Coast Path.

Glanlerry Caravan Park is a peaceful, family-run caravan park in Borth, West Wales, offering a relaxed holiday base just a short, level walk from Borth’s famous three-mile sandy beach. Set beside the river Lery and surrounded by unspoilt countryside, the park provides the perfect blend of tranquillity and coastal scenery, making it one of the most welcoming holiday parks in West Wales for caravans, motorhomes and tents.

The touring and camping field, open from mid-March to mid-October, features level, well-spaced pitches with electric hook-ups, ideal for guests looking for a comfortable touring caravan site in Wales. Facilities include a modern toilet block with hot and cold water, power showers and a private bathroom (both available for a small additional charge), as well as a fully equipped laundry area and washing-up sinks. A chemical waste disposal point is provided, and Calor Gas and Camping Gaz can be exchanged on site at any time. Each pitch includes its own parking space, and seasonal touring pitches in Wales are available for those who want a regular base near the coast.

Popular with families, Glanlerry Caravan Park offers a safe and friendly environment with an adventure playground, a football area with goals and plenty of open space for ball games and family activities. The peaceful riverside surroundings and countryside setting make the park equally appealing to visitors who enjoy walking, cycling and wildlife. Many guests return year after year specifically for the quiet atmosphere, which sets Glanlerry apart from larger, busier holiday parks in Ceredigion.

Being within easy walking distance of Borth means guests can enjoy the best of the Welsh coastline. Borth Beach is ideal for swimming, paddling and rock pooling, while the nearby Ynyslas National Nature Reserve offers spectacular dunes, wildlife habitats and wide-open sandy stretches overlooking the Dyfi Estuary. Golfers can enjoy the renowned 18-hole links course at Borth, while horse riding, mountain biking and nature watching are all available locally.

The park’s location also makes it easy to explore surrounding towns and attractions across Mid Wales. Aberystwyth, just a short drive away, offers shops, restaurants and family attractions, while further along the coast you’ll find Aberaeron and New Quay, where dolphin-spotting boat trips are a highlight of many family holidays. To the north, the edge of Snowdonia National Park, including Machynlleth and Aberdovey, is close enough for memorable day trips.

Glanlerry Caravan Park also offers static caravans for sale in Wales, providing the opportunity to own a private holiday home on a peaceful, well-maintained park close to the beach. All holiday homes are privately owned, which helps maintain the quiet, welcoming atmosphere that regular visitors value.
