Stayed in the wigwams at this site, only for 2 nights as they had made a mistake with our original request for 3 nights. Turned up on the day only to be told they weren't ready for us and were turned away while they were being cleaned. Not great when you have 6 hungry kids. Site was well maintained however and a good location although expect to be woken by the 2 cockerels who live over the river.

WE stayed a couple of nights in this quiet peacefull site by a river. It is within walking distance of the town of Crieff. Staff were friendly and the shop had a wide range of goods. Shower block was warm and clean, also the store boxes in the showers where very handy for keeping clothes dry.

Visited this lovely peaceful site, situated alongside the river on the outskirts of Crieff, in a motorhome.
The site has a good wee shop with essential spares (handy as we needed fuses); a small pond that you can sail little boats on; a playground on site, with another nearby; and a little bird enclosure . Short distance from town and there is a supermarket close by.Visitor centre + Drovers exhibition a short walk away.
Our pitch was adequate and roomy.
Shower block was warm and very clean, and cubicles had storage box/seats which we found useful when showering with kids.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We'll definitely put it on our revisit list.

Guestbook reviews

Had a really lovely stay at Braidhaugh this week! Such a lovely area, so quiet and peaceful, definitely where to go for some relaxation away from cities!
The lodge was nice, really comfy couch and bed and had a well equipped small kitchen area, with a fridge, microwave and small hob. The only issue we had with the lodge was the bathroom, it obviously had some damp issues as the skirting board was badly stained and the flooring was warped, but there was mainly just quite a bad smell of damp. As we weren’t in the lodge too much this wasn’t too much of an issue but also wasn’t the most pleasant.
The staff were really lovely, as we missed a message stating we had to bring our own lighter, so couldn’t light the wood for the hot tub, and it was too late to go to a shop. We managed to get in touch with the staff on their out of hours number - as the reception is only open 9-5, who were super helpful and so lovely as they brought us some matches.

Braidhaugh Holiday Park

This is a hidden gem. Very quiet and peaceful park. Warm welcome in reception and very helpful staff. Our caravan was lovely, it was very hot though but we did arrive in the hottest weekend ever. Clean caravan with everything you could need. We are already planning to come back as we really enjoyed it.
