Visit Perthshire on your holidays and enjoy time at the picturesque and tranquil Braidhaugh Holiday Park which, with its riverside location and excellent facilities, is a great and family friendly place to stay. The park is open all year and is part of the Largo Leisure group.
Touring caravans and motorhomes are welcome at this campsite and seasonal pitches are available, too. All pitches are hardstanding and serviced, with an electric hook-up, a TV point, and independent water and grey water drainage points. One vehicle is permitted per pitch and awnings incur an extra fee of £2/night.
This is also a dog friendly campsite and up to two dogs are allowed per pitch. Owners must keep their four-legged friends on leads at all times, and are reminded to keep them under control and to clean up after them.
If you don't have your own home-from-home to bring to the site, how about renting a holiday lodge. There are caravans for hire and holiday lodges, all of which are well equipped to ensure you're comfortable throughout your stay. Or for something a bit different, how about a wigwam? It's a fun alternative to traditional camping and here at Braidhaugh Holiday Park there are serviced and standard wigwams to choose from – both types sleep four.
The extras you get with a serviced wigwam include a two-ring hob for cooking, plus a sink, a table and chairs, and an en suite washroom. This is in addition to that provided in the standard wigwams, where you'll get a kettle, a fridge, a toaster, a microwave, a TV, an electric panel heater to keep you cosy, and outside space with a fire pit and a bench. Guests staying in the wigwams can use the park's laundry and washroom facilities, and must remember to bring sleeping bags, crockery and cooking utensils. One dog is allowed per wigwam in some of them, for a small extra charge.
The facilities at Braidhaugh Holiday Park include a toilet and shower block which has power showers, coin operated hairdryers in the ladies' block and a separate disabled shower/toilet room. The campsite's laundry room has an iron and an ironing board, washing machines, tumble dryers and sinks for either hand washing or dishwashing. There's also a chemical disposal point on site, plus a games room and a children's play area.
Visit Scotland on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays and you won't be short of things to do – and the story is no different here. Braidhaugh Holiday Park is just outside Crieff, a market town in Perth and Kinross. Whether walking, cycling, mountain biking or horse riding take your fancy, there are plenty of opportunities to do these activities and more nearby. Or perhaps you'd enjoy fishing in the River Earn, or you'd like to visit the Drummond Castle Gardens, about a 10-minute drive away.
From Braidhaugh Holiday Park it will take you about 40 minutes to drive to Perth and about the same to get to Stirling, which has an imposing castle that is well worth a day out.
In an idyllic, riverside setting and with mountain views to enjoy, Braidhaugh Holiday Park is a very special place and a lovely destination for your motorhome and caravan holidays in Scotland.

Stayed in the wigwams at this site, only for 2 nights as they had made a mistake with our original request for 3 nights. Turned up on the day only to be told they weren't ready for us and were turned away while they were being cleaned. Not great when you have 6 hungry kids. Site was well maintained however and a good location although expect to be woken by the 2 cockerels who live over the river. Braidhaugh Park Ltd, Crieff, Perth and Kinross, Scotland

WE stayed a couple of nights in this quiet peacefull site by a river. It is within walking distance of the town of Crieff. Staff were friendly and the shop had a wide range of goods. Shower block was warm and clean, also the store boxes in the showers where very handy for keeping clothes dry.

Visited this lovely peaceful site, situated alongside the river on the outskirts of Crieff, in a motorhome. The site has a good wee shop with essential spares (handy as we needed fuses); a small pond that you can sail little boats on; a playground on site, with another nearby; and a little bird enclosure . Short distance from town and there is a supermarket close by.Visitor centre + Drovers exhibition a short walk away. Our pitch was adequate and roomy. Shower block was warm and very clean, and cubicles had storage box/seats which we found useful when showering with kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely put it on our revisit list.
