Relaxed site in open countryside, under new management.
Easy walk along town's riverwalk to Malmesbury with shops, pubs, takeaways, etc. Dogs on lead welcome. Fishing in river near park - permits available. The oldest borough in England, Malmesbury is a hilltop market town, overlooked by the 11th century Abbey.

As seasoned Caravaners we’ve visited many sites but this is most definately one of the best we’ve stayed at. The site’s location is fantastic and ideally situated for a 5 minute walk into town, which has a number of dog friendly pubs but is still really peaceful and relaxing. I have to complement Burton Hill on the cleanliness of the toilet block it’s immaculate and the showers are hot and very roomy. The TV signal is great and the addition of site WIFI available is a great extra. Overall this has been a fantastic stay and we’ll be booking another visit before we leave.

Wow what a nice place to be able to get away and relax for the weekend. Great hosts and very friendly and take great pride in their park. We camped overlooking the river and had a 5-10min walk into Malmesbury. Nice pubs and a great place to snuffle around. Close enough to citys of Swindon or Bath if you want more to do. (but we were happy to stay local)
Big thumbs up and will recommend you to our friends.
Many Thanks.

Excellemt site had a thoroughly good holiday at this site. It has easy access to numerous attractions a lot that we did not have time to go to. Would recomend it to anyone that likes a quiet holiday. Thanks to the owners of the site and we shall see you in 2006
