Queensgate Caravan Park

Queensgate Caravan Park in Lancashire is home to a collection of permanently owned static caravans only, giving those that love this part of Lancashire and the Fylde coast an ideal location for a permanent holiday retreat.

The park is open from 1 March until 4 January every year. Holiday home owners are permitted to visit their accommodation during the winter season, but no overnight stays are allowed at this time. No letting or sub-letting of caravans is allowed, ensuring that Queensgate Caravan Park is a real community site and offers guests staying at the park a true home away from home.

All of the caravans at Queensgate Caravan Park are modern and tastefully decorated, as well as being equipped with the latest conveniences and appliances to ensure guests enjoy all their regular home comforts when staying here. Each caravan stands on a gravel base and is hooked up to all necessary utilities.

The amenities block at the park features the site reception, a great tourist information area for guests looking to plan their day out in the surrounding region, a fully equipped laundrette and disabled facilities.

The park is on the outskirts of Little Eccleston, which has a selection of local services including shops, and a hotel and restaurant, while a short distance away is Great Eccleston, where you'll also find some shops and eateries, plus a post office, all of which are handy when you are self catering.

Guests that love the outdoors can enjoy walks across the countryside or through neighbouring woodland. Walks along the River Wyre are always popular, while many guests choose to find a quiet spot by the river and enjoy a day of fishing. Elsewhere, the Lancaster Canal offers miles of great walking, while there are some excellent pubs to be found along the water’s edge, too.

About a 20-minute drive away from Queensgate Caravan Park is Garstang, which sits on the outskirts of the Forest of Bowland, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town is renowned for being the world’s first Fairtrade town, while the Forest of Bowland is a great place for enjoying long walks, as well as for cycling and mountain biking, for those who like to get active on their holidays.

Spend your caravan holidays at Queensgate Caravan Park and if you'd like to visit Blackpool, you'll be pleased to learn that it's less than half an hour away by car. Enjoy time at the beach and see the Blackpool Tower or maybe the Blackpool Illuminations, or head to Sea Life Blackpool, walk up the piers or enjoy time at the Sandcastle Waterpark or the Pleasure Beach Arena.

Also about a half hour drive from this caravan park are both Preston and Lytham Saint Annes, not forgetting the traditional seaside town of Fleetwood, while Morecambe and Lancaster are both within 45 minutes of this park.
