Anyone going on camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in the Lake District simply has to check out Lake Windermere. Some guests just like to enjoy stunning views of the lake by walking or cycling around its perimeter, finding some quirky villages, shops, and pubs in the process. But Windermere is most famous for its lake cruises, which can last from 45 minutes to three hours depending on what guests would like to do. As well as cruising the lake and getting a unique perspective on the surrounding area, most cruises also include lunch and refreshments.
