Came to stay as a trial run - was considering buying on site - bar manager advised me against buying told me company in trouble can anyone provide more information
there were quite a few people complaining about the general upkeep

Lovely stay at Carlton Meres, recently refurbished and it shows!. Kids loved the swimming pool, and we loved the tennis courts. Beautiful fishing lakes to walk around and fabulous woodland walks. Staff couldnt be more helpful. Truly had a wonderful stay. Highly recommed *****

Super setting - 2 lovely lakes to walk around or fish in. Lots of nearby walks for dogs. Nice bar area and little shop on site (limited range of stock). Tennis courts, small childrens play area.Outdoor pool very clean and are in process of building changing rooms.Staff very friendly.Only negative is that shower block a bit grubby when we went.
