The Sandlings Centre is the beautiful setting for a lovely collection of privately owned holiday homes and holiday lodges. This static caravan and lodge holiday park is found on the Suffolk Heritage Coast within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Sandlings Centre sits in ten acres of land, primarily meadow and woodland, and has plenty of open spaces for holiday home or lodge owners to enjoy a relaxing stay in this beautiful part of East Anglia.

The park is a short distance from a selection of beautiful, clean beaches that are suitable for everything from swimming and paddling to the more ‘extreme’ water based activities such as wakeboarding, windsurfing, and more. Beachcombing along the Suffolk coast is highly popular, with a range of stones to be found, with Suffolk amber in particular able to be polished and turned into great looking jewellery.

The owners of The Sandlings Centre have been careful to allow the park to grow and evolve as naturally as possible, meaning guests enjoy a largely unspoiled landscape during their stay, and get to see plenty of wild shrubs as well as a diverse collection of wildlife.

The Sandlings Centre is a perfect place for families that enjoy the area to escape the pressures of modern life, whether they’re looking for somewhere to switch off and relax or enjoy heading out to discover the range of attractions found in the area. Walkers and cyclists in particular love owning a home from home at Sandlings, with miles of picturesque trails taking in a variety of landscape able to be picked up a short distance from the park. Such is the beauty of the area that many guests simply choose to head out themselves and create their own routes for taking in the area.

Sandlings is a popular retreat among wildlife lovers, too. The surrounding area is ideal for attracting a range of bird life, and bird watchers from across the United Kingdom frequently flock to the area with their cameras and binoculars. There is a large bird population throughout the year, with the autumnal and springtime migration periods even busier, with a diverse range of bird life passing through the Suffolk coast.

Away from Sandlings and the immediate surrounding area, Suffolk boasts a range of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. The National Trust Property at Sutton Hoo is magnificent, while the medieval town of Woodbridge is a must for anyone that loves quirky shops and tearooms. Orford has a couple of excellent pubs that welcome families and serve food, as well as some great walking routes along the riverside.

Up the coast, visit Aldeburgh, where you can buy fresh fish on the beach as it’s brought in from the sea!

Go to Felixstowe and Ipswich during your holidays in Suffolk, both of which are close by and are filled with entertainment and leisure attractions for everyone. Take a slightly longer drive up the coast and you'll be able to enjoy the sandy beach, pier, amusements and attractions in the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth. Further away, visit Colchester, which offers great shopping and one of the best zoos in the country. In fact the coastal towns of Essex are also well worth visiting during your family holidays in Suffolk, staying in your own holiday home at The Sandlings Centre.
