Greenhill Leisure Park is a family-run caravan site in the village of Bletchingdon in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside.
Situated next to a beautiful conservation area with nurtured forestry and wildlife, the park is comprised of 270 acres of woodland, a fishing lake and cultivated farmland. Expect to see wildlife such as deer in the nearby fields and the numerous owls, badgers, foxes and buzzards that live in the area. Green Hill is also near to the Oxford Canal, and the River Cherwell runs through part of the park.
The park offers both hard standing pitches for large caravans and motorhomes, and soft pitches for campers with modern facilities maintained to the highest standard and a handy onsite shop for all those daily essentials.
For families with children, there's an outdoor playground and for the young at heart, petting animals including friendly alpacas, pigs, donkeys and goats.
The Pizza Boys Bistro serves great pizza, pasta, fresh breakfasts, homemade cake and hot drinks, and has a fully licensed bar. A local beauty salon is a regular visitor to the park offering a wide range of beauty and holistic therapies from massage, facials and manicures to holistic events and yoga. Another attraction is a local art studio that provides a creative environment for anyone wishing to draw, paint and even explore printing techniques.
Nestled between the beauty of the Cotswolds and the scenic Chiltern Hills, this Oxfordshire campsite is the perfect base from which to explore the many nearby attractions.
Open all year round, Greenhill Leisure Park offers an Oxfordshire camping and caravanning experience that's hard to beat.

Not very impressed, all nice and clean, however we did feel like we were being constantly watched to see when we would fall fowl of the many rules. I was told in no uncertain terms that my dog must be on a lead at ALL times, or we would be ejected from the site. It was however perfectly acceptable for there 12+15 chickens to wander were they liked defecating at leisure, which included in the car and right inside the caravan.
Apparently there should be quiet after 10pm, this was in no way controlled, a camper van very close to us did manage to party and then wash up noisily at the sinks right up to 1am. The Wardens at the time were entertaining there own guests!!
Not what I would expect for £30 per night for a family. I would recommend a nice quiet CL and would not stay on this site again.

Our second year back at this campsite and it was as good as our first visit. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The pitches on the gently sloped main field are very generous and well kept. The two toilet blocks were always clean but the small number of facilities struggled to cope with the number of people at the site during the school holidays. Having said that I don’t know of any site that would have been any different during a high season week. The shop supplied the essentials along with fishing tackle for use in the lakes. There is a generous kids area which has a ball playing field and play park. The owners tell me that the construction of a new building adjacent to the current shop will be the new shop and tea rooms although I’m not sure when it will be opened. There are plenty of areas to walk the dog from a designated off the lead area on site to my favourite, a 15 minute stroll across the fields to Bletchingdon and The Blacks Head pub. My kids and dog were welcome inside and the beer is good. The pub opened early in the morning for breakfasts and had a reasonable supply of newspapers for sale. Overall a very nice site set close to Oxford which is ideal for those wet days and I look forward to camping there again.
