If you’re looking for a tranquil patch of Oxfordshire countryside to escape to there are few places better than Hardwick Park. This spacious park is set on rolling green fields and picturesque woodland bordered by the beautiful River Windrush. Enjoying doing absolutely nothing relaxing in the natural surroundings or head out and try one of many fantastic things to do in Oxfordshire.

The historic city of Oxford lies just down the road. Exploring the grand historic buildings of the city's historic university is one of the best things to do in Oxford, and you’ll plenty of great shops, restaurants, and museums there too. Another must-see attraction in Oxfordshire is Blenheim Palace, the spectacular seat of the Churchill family and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

The Cotswolds await in the opposite direction. This region is among England’s most stunning ‘green and pleasant’ countryside and home to an abundance of charming traditional villages. Options for getting around the area range from walking and jogging to cycling and horse riding.

Golf and fishing are also widely available nearby if you're in the mood for a relaxing pursuit. If you’re feeling adventurous on the other hand, head to our very own onsite Hardwick Park Watersports Centre where you can ride a rubber ring pulled behind a motorboat, try water-skiing, and enjoy many other exciting water activities.

An onsite clubhouse provides food, drink, and entertainment every day of the week. A shop supplies all your essentials and a takeaway is on hand whenever you fancy a tasty treat.

Open from March to October, Hardwick has over 200 spacious pitches for motorhomes and tents, and a great selection of available for purchase holiday homes.

I find the previous review a little harsh, people can clean up after them selfs, would you do that at home ?
I found this park to be first class, reception more the helpful, shop serving food brill, toilet/showers very nice, club that also serves food,a lake were you can swimm or just watch people messing about on boats.large dog walk.very peace full even at night.
I dont give 5 stars unless they warant it and I think they do.
I will be back with more family and friends next time.Keep up the good work.

Note: This review was left while under different management

A very nice site, plenty of walks around the lake. Liked watching the water sports, and the club house is a great improvement on the previous one. The only complaint I have is that the toilet blocks were only cleaned once during a week long stay.

Property manager response (27 Jun 2011)

Our toilet/shower blocks are cleaned on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday in low season and daily in high season with a double clean on Saturday and Sunday at bank holiday weekends so we are extremely concerned that you believe that they were only cleaned once unless, of course, you arrived on a Monday and left again on Friday. We are always happy to respond to any questions or queries at the time and to explain how we operate. We do hope that you will visit us again. Kind regards.
