The caravan park has 5 grass pitches all of which have electric points, all have available fresh water point, along with chemical toilet disposal point. The site will allow you to experience true “back to nature”camping, being surrounded by beautiful Shropshire hills and countryside and an area of outstanding beauty.
There is good access to surrounding areas such as Bishops Castle, Clun, Church Stretton, Craven Arms Welshpool, Newtown and surrounding areas. In Bishops Castle there is a great choice of pubs and cafés with unusual shops all offering a welcome atmosphere and it’s still a busy market town holding cattle market once weekly with farmers and craft markets in town hall on first and third Saturday of the month.
Bishops Castle holds many activities throughout the year, and is great walking country with many circular walks and places of interest.
For those of you who enjoy good food and real ale there are two breweries in the town - The Six Bells and The Three Tuns. Altogether there are six pubs in the town with realise festival held in July.
Music and art also play a big part in the town’s heritage with art festivals, walking festivals, Michaelmas fair to name a few. There is a local swimming pool and SparC theatre which host films and screened theatre.
There is plenty for all ages both in the town and surrounding areas, with the caravan park being not just a base to explore but also to relax and unwind in this beautiful back to nature experience whilst sat at your caravan enjoying views.
