My partner and I have been to westbrook park four times, including a four day stay when it dropped to -9 degrees, and we still had a fantastic time, and intend to visit many more times in the future. We cannot recommend this site enough, a beautiful, peaceful site set in an old orchard. I have spent many a happy day sat fishing on the half mile stretch of river taking in the abundant wildlife, including kingfishers, sparrow hawks and mink, where I caught my first barbel and chub. The pitches are very spacious and well laid out, also very nice to have water supply and tv hookup on all pitches. The heated shower and toilet block is one of the cleanest and well appointed we have seen. Even when the temperature dropped to minus 9,and the pipes froze, the staff ensured the facilities were useable by rushing around with buckets to fill the cisterns and supply fresh water. There is a delightful country pub just a stoll through the orchard, which serves good drinks and food, and is well worth a visit. We found the park staff to be very helpful and friendly. Whilst in this area, we always visit Ludlow, about 6 miles away. There is always something to see and do at Ludlow. We visited the castle in November when they had a medieval christmas fair, which was a extremely good day, especially the hog roast! Whatever time of the year we have visited, the sun always seems to be shining at Westbrook Park.
