Poplars Caravan and Chalet Park

You can be assured of a warm welcome at Poplars Caravan and Chalet Park from Dena and Kevin Parfitt, when you arrive in this village on the north Norfolk coast. The park is open from March until October each year and it has been granted a three-star rating by the English Tourism Council.

Three holiday chalets as well as a holiday cottage are available for hire here. The chalets each have one or two bedrooms, while the holiday cottage has three bedrooms. Cosy and double glazed, they'll be the perfect place to stay on your holidays in Norfolk. They are well equipped, too, the kitchen fitted with all you could need, including an oven, a fridge/freezer and a microwave. An iron and ironing board are provided, too, while in the relaxing lounge areas you'll find a TV with Freeview and a DVD player. However, this is not dog friendly accommodation.

But that's not all. Poplars Caravan and Chalet Park also has holiday caravans that you can book time in. With a modern finish and completed to a high standard, these would make a lovely place to stay during your holidays. Much like the chalets and the holiday cottage also found on site, these caravans are fitted with all the cooking equipment you could need. Please note that these holiday caravans are also not dog friendly.

There are also caravans for sale and pitches are available for holiday caravans measuring up to 33m by 12m.

This holiday park has been thoughtfully landscaped and laid out to ensure that all those staying here do so in privacy and in a lovely, natural environment. In addition, on site facilities include an amenities block, a laundry, which has washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities, and a children's play area.

Visit Norfolk on your holidays and you'll find its pretty north coast a fabulous destination. Stay here at Poplars Caravan and Chalet Park and you're merely a brief stroll from the beach – and one that's popular with those who love surfing. The park is in the village of East Runton, where you'll find a shop, two pubs, a restaurant and a fish and chip shop, meaning you can easily stock up on your holiday essentials or enjoy a night off cooking and washing up.

Stay here and you're also less than 10 minutes by car from the better known town of Cromer, also perched on the north Norfolk coast. Visit Cromer to sample the world famous Cromer Crab, walk along the esplanade and the pier, or enjoy time on the family friendly beach.

Alternatively, drive 40 or 45 minutes the other way along the coast and you'll get to charming Wells-next-the-Sea, in the North Norfolk Heritage Coast region. It's a pretty town where colourful beach huts adorn the beach and you can catch a ride on the miniature steam train – or go seal-watching.

Fancy heading inland? Enjoy a day out in Fakenham – and maybe have a flutter at the races. The royal Sandringham Estate is also within an hour's drive of Poplars Caravan and Chalet Park. Or drive about 45 minutes south of this holiday park to Norwich, where you can indulge in a spot of retail therapy, or just enjoy meandering around the bustling market, before visiting the cathedral and castle.

However you wish to spending your holidays in Norfolk, Poplars Caravan and Chalet Park is a lovely base on an idyllic coast.
