Wow what a friendly site, we spent the august bank holiday weekend here, the staff are very accomadating and eager to help.
Check in was easy, and we were shown to our pitch, some are up a very steep hill, after trying our hardest without burning out the clutch, the kind staff with the landrovers pulled our van up the hill and put it on our allocated pitch.
The area we were in was very windy and made putting up the awning a job and half!!
Onsite facilities were of a high standard although limited, play park was small and tucked away, laundry rooms were ok, (i didnt use them), showers and toilets were of a very good standard, a pleasure to use, on site shop small and expensive.
I would recommend this site to anyone who enjoys walking, there are lots of interesting routes to to take in the local beauty.
Off site facilities are good morrisons nearby and the lovely town of buxton.
