An attractive and level site with a view of the splendid Lympne Castle in the distance. This family site boasts recently developed facilities including a new toilet block and TV and games rooms. Keep an ear out for the lions and monkeys which you can sometimes hear from nearby Lympne Zoo; also listen for the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch miniature railway as it passes the site. East Kent has plenty of attractions beginning with the attractive village of Hythe. Why not take advantage of the site’s proximity to the channel ports or the Channel Tunnel (15 minutes away) and pop over to France for the day – remember to take your passport! Further inland you can discover Pa Larkin’s Garden of England – oasts, hop gardens, vineyards, orchards and lots more.

Rude caretakers from the moment we pulled up to the moment we left spoilt our stay , we arrived at 1300hrs as asked and tried to book in together with friends that recommended the site to be rudely told "I can only do 1 at a time " then the lady came over and asked the ladies to book in while the men parked up , I said "that's good they can pay " the man said "don't worry he's joking "
Not a good start and it got worse , they clearly don't like kids as they moan at them for the smallest thing , the best thing to do is avoid them as much as possible

A Caravan Club members only site, located between the South Downs and The English Channel in the coutryside of the flat and arable marshlands.

A mature site surrounded by trees and shrubs, perfect for peaceful and quiet stays.

Access road to site very narrow in places.

Friendly and helpful wardens.

TV reception is good.

Beautifully maintained site with kids play area, games room, recreation room and amenities block kept very clean and tidy to the usual very high CC standards.

Generous pitch sizes, mostly level grass and some hard standing, all with EHU.

Site shop for papers to order, and basic groceries.

Nearest pub with restaurant ½ mile. Approx 4 miles to Hythe for nearest shops, town centre, beach, sea front, HD&R steam railway. Royal Military Canal for coarse fishing 1 mile, Lympne Castle & Zoo 2 miles.
