Base your next break on the grounds of a restored 17th-century Inn overlooking the leafy forests, rolling hills, and patchwork fields of the Yorkshire Dales. Tarn House Holiday Park in North Yorkshire lies just outside the ancient stone-built market town of Skipton. It offers serviced pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, holiday homes for hire and luxury holiday homes and pine lodges for sale.

The North York Moors is a wild landscape of heather moorland hills and white limestone-walled meadow valleys where winding lanes connect chocolate-box stone villages with proud church steeples and snug local pubs. Whether you like walking, cycling, wildlife watching, stargazing, or simply taking in lost-in-time serenity, here you will find an abundance of unforgettable opportunities to enjoy your holiday activities of choice.

Down the road is Skipton with its shops, pubs, restaurants, market and towering medieval castle, which is one of the best preserved in England. Its streets and establishments are also flush with the welcoming atmosphere of Yorkshire’s famous hospitality. The town frequently tops ‘best places to live’ polls.

The restored inn is the communal centre of Tarn House Holiday Park. Behind its elegant facade are the park’s reception, dining area and fully licensed bar. Beneath is a patio area and beer garden where guests can gaze over the stunning views across the valley to the distant green hillside while enjoying a drink from the quaint Horsebox Bar.
